This just appeared to me a few minutes ago as I was looking through his "ten month old" folder on the computer. It appears that Gideon, by way of grabbing and holding on to Solomon's tags, that he is interested in making sure Solomon is up to date on his license, rabies, and microchip. Which begs the title above. Is this already a life calling showing itself in our ten month old son?

So the latest FANTASTIC installment of musical genius that is U2 came out with a few new additions that they compiled into what is now known as No Line On the Horizon. I played a bit for Gideon, and like father like son, he loves it. Here's his sing-a-long with Bono!

It's been nice here the last two days. It's the first day since Gideon's been home that he's been able to wear a short-sleeved shirt and no socks. Naturally our next post will be talking about how Gideon seems to have come down with a cold, but that's beside the point. I got home from work today and Kathee was all excited about seeing Gideon's feet and arms! So here are the pictures she took. Life here continues to be great. Kathee just got home from the Social Security office in downtown to apply for Gideon's social security card. The joys of citizenship!

His Birth Certificate Arrived Today

Upon opening the mail today, we received three copies of Gideon's Record of Foreign Birth certificate. Lists Kathee and I as Mom and Pop! Pretty cool stuff!

The Self Feeder

After trying, and trying, and trying to feed himself, one day a few weeks ago he got it. Now the kid is a machine. Here's some video of Gideon feeding his yapper. And now that he knows how to feed himself, we are also training him NOT to take his new found skill and use it in feeding his food to the dogs (who interestingly lay at the feed of his chair hoping for windfalls and the occassional Gideon feeding them. Enjoy the video.
