Nebraska Pregame

It's game day at the T's. and with Kathee's cousin and family being big Michigan fans, this game is a big one for bragging rights. And with them coming for Thanksgiving this year, it's yet another good year to be a Husker!

Fun at the table

Hope loves coloring (art) and Gideon loves geography (or at least finding Ethiopia). Fun times.

Oatmeal Cookies

Last night Gideon and I decided to make oatmeal cookies. As you can see, I got the right measuring supplies, Gideon did most of the work, and I did the heavy lifting. The cookies are incredible!

Heading off to preschool

Field Trip Fridays

Now that Gideon is in preschool, and in an attempt to give Kathee a couple hours to herself, I drop Gideon off at school on Fridays and then Hope and I go out and do something fun. Our first outing? You guesses it, geocaching. There is a series of caches on the bike path along the river in Davenport. So off we went. She really enjoyed the ride, and every so often would say, Papa find it?" So much fun with her. On the way to pick up Gideon she was out like a light!

Staying Overnight

Grandpa Smith invited Gideon to spend the night with them tonight. Most certainly it's going to be a party of epic proportions.

Fire Time

This past Sunday night, I decided it was about time to have a fire in the back yard.  Kathee and I had been talking about it for weeks, and so, after naps were completed, I thought it might be fun to have some fun in the yard.  So, I started the fire, Kathee and the kids ran to HyVee for hot dogs, and away we went.  It was so nice to just sit and relax and be together.  So fun to watch the kids play together and get along so well.  God is so good to our family.  We praise Him over and over again.  Enjoy the pictures.
The kids loved the fire, and both came sprinting to sit in their seats when they saw that I had set them up for them.
